It is the policy of MedAlliance - Patient Care Service Provider in New York, to provide essential medical services regardless of the patient's ability to pay.  We are a NHSC (National Health Service Corps) location site.

Discounts are offered based upon household income and size.  A sliding fee schedule is used to calculate the basic discount and is updated each year using the federal poverty guidelines.

How do I make sure my insurance was authorized?
You are welcome to call the facility your appointment is scheduled at to verify with one of our trained receptionists, insurance verification specialists, or medical assistants.

How to Prepare for My Appointment

No matter if it's your first time or a follow up always have your most recent insurance card, a NY State driver's license or valid government photo ID, and referral (if needed) for Each appointment you have here, and cash/credit card for co pay. 

How do I know if I need a referral?
The main way to know if you need a referral is whether or not your primary physician is a part of the MedAlliance Medical Health Group. 

Contact your insurance carrier if they require you to have a referral to see a specialist.

Our primary/internist physicians can easily refer you within our network so there's no need to worry about a referral.  If you're primary is a part of the MedAlliance Medical Health Group then you do not require a referral for specialists.

If your primary physician is not a part of the MedAlliance Medical Health Group then you will need a referral from your primary care physician to see any of our specialists.  This is essential for your insurance to authorize your visit, meaning that you will only have a co-pay due instead of having to pay out-of-pocket for the full appointment.

How do I make sure my referral was received?
If you have enrolled with our Patient Portal site you can access the information there.  Otherwise you are welcome to call the facility your appointment is scheduled at to verify with one of our trained receptionists, insurance verification specialists, or medical assistants.
